COMPLEXO DE PISCINAS DO JAMOR
Following the recent Resolution of the Council of Ministers of May 29, 2020, which makes it possible for most activities to resume operation at the level of indoor swimming pools, provided that in compliance with the guidelines defined by the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), the Complexo de Piscinas do Jamor resumed its activities, at the level of Swimming School, Free Use and training of federated clubs, on June 8.
The resumed activity is naturally partial, due to the risk assessment of the various activities and in compliance with the provisions of the DGS guidelines (DGS - Guideline No. 30/2020, of 29 May). In this sense, a set of measures were adopted with a view to minimizing risk, which are expressed in our Manual for the Protection of Practitioners and Employees Covid -19. It should also be noted that the Swimming Pool Complex of the Centro Desportivo Nacional do Jamor (CDNJ) was already in operation since mid-May for High Performance training and National Teams, which allowed, from the start, to implement a set of safety procedures that have now been reviewed and extended to all users.
The resumption of activities at the Swimming School level is only possible for users with active enrollment (2019/2020), in the classes properly identified with resumption of activity (several classes were suspended, due to the risk assessment and physical space available in compliance with DGS guidelines).
Free Use will also only be possible for users with active enrollment in the same modality (Free Use) at the present time, and by prior appointment. These users were sent by e-mail with information explaining the scheduling process.
At this stage, enrollment/renewals for the current season for the Swimming School are not accepted. In homologous periods, the renewal process for the next season would be taking place, however in view of the current pandemic context this process will be postponed. We will inform you about this procedure when appropriate.
